Creativity Blooms During Monday Craft Hour at Avalon Park
Monday afternoons are always filled with creativity, laughter, and great conversation at Avalon Park Senior Living. During this week’s Craft Hour, our residents had the opportunity to create their very own succulent terrariums, each one as unique as the person who designed it.
With a wonderful turnout, residents enjoyed building their terrariums from the ground up, carefully layering soil and decorative materials before planting their succulents. They finished each creation with colorful stones, soft moss, and whimsical decorative mushrooms, giving every arrangement its own personal touch.
More than just a fun craft, activities like these encourage creativity, provide gentle hands-on engagement, and create meaningful opportunities for residents to spend time together while trying something new. Best of all, everyone took home a beautiful living keepsake to brighten their apartment and enjoy for months to come.
At Avalon Park, there’s always something to look forward to. From creative craft projects and social gatherings to fitness classes, games, and special events, our activities are thoughtfully designed to help residents stay engaged, connected, and inspired every day.
We love seeing the smiles, friendships, and sense of accomplishment that come from afternoons like these, and we can’t wait to see what next Monday’s Craft Hour brings!
