Dear Residents and Families,

We’ve got a full and festive week ahead at Avalon Park — here’s what’s coming up!

And here is the calendar of all events.

Monday: We’re diving into a much-requested craft! Join us for Jewelry Making as we learn the art of macramé while creating beautiful Macramé “Leaf” Earrings.

Tuesday: It’s Veterans Day, and we’re honored to welcome back Mickey and Lori, who will help us pay tribute to our veterans in a heartfelt ceremony.

Wednesday: We’re off to a local favorite — Pio’s Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge! Enjoy great food, good company, and the charm of a St. Charles classic.

Thursday: Double the fun! We’ll be brewing beer for our upcoming Winter Holiday Party and hosting our rescheduled Willie Nelson lecture — “The Man, The Myth, The Legend.”

Friday: Our Pick-up Truck Hauling Pumpkins Painting Session has been rescheduled for Friday morning! We’ll be using stencils to create our festive fall trucks — don’t miss this cozy, creative class!

Sunday, the 16th: A special reminder — we’ll be heading out to see Fiddler on the Roof! This trip is for paid ticketholders, so make sure you’re on the list for this beloved musical outing.

We love hearing from you. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out. And if there’s a program you want to make sure your family member attends, tell me, and I’ll personally help them get there.
