Hello Everyone!

Here’s what’s coming up this week at Avalon Park — we have a full lineup of fun, music, and Thanksgiving cheer!

And here is the calendar of all events.

• Sunday, November 23rd – Vox Una Youth Choir (FREE!)
We’re heading up the road to St. Joseph’s to hear the incredible Vox Una youth choir. This event is completely free, and we will provide transportation. Just sign up at the front desk to join us!

• Monday – Movie Night: Raiders of the Lost Ark
This week’s movie is a resident request — the iconic adventure Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Note: Going forward, our Monday night movie will switch to Monday Night Football so everyone can enjoy the games together.

• Tuesday – Trivia & Guided Meditation
Trivia as usual in the morning! Later, join us for a relaxing guided meditation with visuals — I highly encourage everyone to give this one a try.

• Wednesday – Sadark Thanksgiving Special
Don’t miss our special presentation: Sadark’s “Stuffed with Traditions” Thanksgiving Special.
This is truly a must-see event packed with stories, fun, and holiday warmth.

• Friday – Monthly Birthday Bash
We’re celebrating our November birthdays with style! Enjoy our signature drink, offered as both cocktails and mocktails, and raise a glass to our birthday residents.

• Saturday – Hymn Singing with Kim
Our lovely Kim will be here leading hymn singing — always a resident favorite.

• Sunday – Bonus Week!
This month ends on a Sunday, and since we are transitioning from a weekly to a monthly program calendar, we are including the final Sunday of the month on this schedule as well. Our next monthly calendar will begin on Monday, December 1st.

We love hearing from you. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out. And if there’s a program you want to make sure your family member attends, tell me, and I’ll personally help them get there.
