Dear Avalon Families,
We’ve got a wonderful week ahead and wanted to share a few highlights from our attached program packet!
🌞 Wednesday: Patio Potluck Picnic
In celebration of National Picnic Day, residents are invited to enjoy a cheerful potluck on the patio (weather permitting). The residents will bring a dish, and we will have food stations set up indoors and welcome everyone to grab a plate and enjoy some fresh air if the skies are clear! This is a “resident-run” potluck, so please bring a dish to participate; see the front desk for what’s already being brought.
☕ Coming Soon: Black Cat Café Project Pop-Up Shop
We’re thrilled to be hosting a pop-up from the Black Cat Café Project, a mission-driven group, helping disabled youth develop job skills and confidence. Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 21st, today!
💜 Looking Ahead: Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Our very own Meghan is organizing this year’s Avalon Park team, and there’s plenty to do now to help us gear up for the fall walk. Whether you’d like to help gather donations, brainstorm team spirit ideas, or assist with mini fundraisers, every bit helps, big or small!
As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, we’re just a call or email away.
With gratitude,
Sada and the Avalon Park Team
