Our recent Ice Cream Social at Avalon Park Senior Living was the perfect way to celebrate the season while spending quality time together with residents, friends, and team members. Just in time for the summer heat and with National Ice Cream Day right around the corner, everyone enjoyed creating their favorite frozen treats complete with a variety of toppings, plenty of whipped cream, and, of course, lots of smiles.
Residents gathered around the dining room to visit with neighbors, share stories, and cool off with delicious ice cream while patriotic decorations added to the festive atmosphere. Whether someone preferred a classic cone, a sundae piled high with toppings, or simply enjoyed watching others build their creations, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
